Facilities and Amenities

 

Yana Puma Healing and Educational Center features many amenities to ensure the comfort of its guests, including:

• 24-hour solar electricity in all shared buildings, including kitchen, dining room, group housing  and showers

• filtered water in showers and faucets, to avoid contamination or water-borne illnesses

• all buildings are completely mosquito netted, and all beds feature individual mosquito nets. However, most guests will find that there are few mosquitos in the center or surrounding jungle.

• guests of group retreats have a shared dormitory style building which comfortably accommodates up to 15 guests, and features four shared bathrooms

• a spacious (15 meters) maloca with attached bathrooms-

• individual houses (tambos) are available for guests studying/doing plant dietas

• all transportation to and from the center to Iquitos will be arranged, with private boats for group  retreats
